Human Resources And Administrative Affairs section
The section is responsible for NICO’s methods, the provision of administrative services and all other personnel matters.
The section also studies and reviews general administrative policies and industrial relations as practised in the Switzerland.
It deals additionally with recruitments, sick leaves, absentees, work permits, and other personnel affairs.
The section provides assistance to Head of Departments as and when needed. It providers support and advice to staff, family members and retirees in case of personal or work-related difficulties.
The section is responsible for the Implementation of career development policies, competencies management, skills and talent inventory, performance appraisal, advancement and promotion.
It organizes and manages training, coordinates induction, handles a large variety of international recruitment schemes and successful implementation and development of the programmes.
Provides information and decision-making support to management based on analysis and modelling of human resources planning scenarios.
Provides legal advice on HR matters, such as prevention and settlement of internal disputes, drafting and interpretation of the staff rules and regulations and compensation and classification.
Organizes and arranges social activities (social events, etc.).
Manages the NICO Pension Fund with NICO’s Partners.
Administers and develops the health insurance scheme, in collaboration with the NICO’s Partners.
Provides personnel services, like claims, benefits and visas.
Draw personnel contracts and make necessary changes as required.
Deals with the analysis, streamlining, harmonization and documentation of all administrative procedures used by NICO.
Ensures front-line contact for all human resources assistance and counselling activities (incl. recruitment, contractual matters, internal mobility, succession planning, career transition).
Maintains policies, budget, resources, selection committees, recruitment statistics.
Manages apprentices and personnel programmes related to computing and statistical expertise.
