Planning & monitoring Department
The Department is responsible for over all NICOs plan, to include short, medium and long term plans. It is also responsible
to carry out studies, develop companys missions, objectives and policies.
Planning and Monitoring Department consist of five sections as follows
Planning and Monitoring Section
This section is responsible to control and monitor the execution of projects from a technical, economical and financial perspective. Monitors and control NICOs
projects progress with regards to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC).
Follows and participate in Joint management Committees (JMC), Reviews the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) to make sure the projects are operated according
to terms of Agreements.
Project Control Section
The Section is responsible to control and monitor the efficient execution of projects from the technical, economical and financial perspective.
Monitors and controls the project progress with regard to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). Monitors also the cash flows of projects
and the use of investments made. Participate in JMC.
Participating and Investment project & Business Development Section
Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the overall execution of participation projects from a technical, economical and financing perspective.
Monitors and controls the project progress with regard to EPC. The department is mainly responsible for the Shah Deniz, North Sea and Madras projects.
Any potential business will be studied and analysed and appropriate business plans are prepared by this Section.
